The 33-year-old former Glee star remains missing after she vanished during a boat trip on Wednesday with her four-year-old son.
Shortly before she went missing, Naya shared an adorable post on Instagram where she cuddled her young son, Josey.
The actress captioned the shot “Just the Two of Us”.
Fans have been quick to notice an eerie connection to Eminem’s tune, which features the exact lyric and also portrays the story of a mother dying in a lake.

Other lyrics that feature in Eminem’s song include “Da-da made a nice bed for mommy at the bottom of the lake,” and “there mama goes splashing in the water”.
As the search for Naya continues at Lake Piru in California, the connection to the song has caused quite a stir on social media.
“Strange to me that her last photo was captioned the same as this song, with such lyrics,” wrote one fan.

“Someone should look into this..” added another, alongside the highlighted lyrics of Eminem’s song.
Others furiously slammed the suggestion, and argued that there are other references that the line could have been made to.
“Are you joking? Now is not the time for conspiracy theories. ‘Just the two of us’ is such a normal and common phrase that everyone uses. Just stop,” wrote one fan.
Another fumed: “Stupidest tweet today lol I don’t think she was thinking about Eminem when she tweeted this especially since the song is in his point of view not hers.”

On Thursday night, the second day’s search for Naya was called off as darkness fell across the lake.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has also claimed that there is “little to no evidence” Naya made it back to shore.
In a press conference, forces tasked with searching for the star admitted they may never find Naya’s body due to poor conditions in the water.
