We’ve all been there… You’re at a party, surrounded by people younger than yourself, so you decide to try and act ‘cool’ to impress them.
If you’re lucky, you might pull it off, if not, you might simply come across as a bit weird and have to move along.
But one woman recently took things too far in her efforts to appeal to a younger crowd – and her behaviour has since been branded “shocking” and “vile” by those who have heard about it, with some even suggesting it’s “sexual assault”.
She’s mortified by her friend’s actions
An unnamed mum revealed all to disgusted users on Mumsnet.
She began the tale by revealing that she had organised a ‘games night’ at her house one Saturday.
Among the guests were her 21-year-old son and his girlfriend, her 19-year-old daughter and her boyfriend as well as the daughter’s best friend and the best friend’s mum, who is in her 40s.
The two older women had bonded through their daughter’s friendship, so the woman thought it would be a nice night for all involved.
It was just meant to be a fun games night
However things took a strange turn during a drinking game.
She said: “We were playing a silly drinking card game of daughter’s.
“You had to read instructions off of card and do them. One was grab something beginning with D.
“I grabbed the dog, son grabbed the door, etc. But then my ‘friend’ reached out and grabbed my daughter’s boyfriend’s penis!!”
But the older woman did something very inappropriate
The mum added: “I was mortified but everyone was laughing so I didn’t want to make a scene.
“I thought it was totally out of order and if it had been a man doing it to a young girl I am sure everyone would have been horrified!”
Many of her fellow mums on the website agreed it was very wrong of the adult friend to do that.
One person commented: “That is vile. I would be keeping my distance from her.”
Another wrote: “That’s unbelievable!”
“It’s sexual assault in my opinion, wildly inappropriate,” added a third.
